Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport Authority Scholarship

Interested in becoming a pilot? The Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport Authority is offering a Pilot Training Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in high school or equivalent, be at least 16 years of age, be a full-time resident of Alcona or Iosco County, and be able to meet the standards of FAA Third Class medical certificate. Applicants will need access to Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 61 to complete application. This is available via the website: www.oscairport.com and click on "scholarship" then on "Link to FAA Regulation Part 61." Applications in the Counseling Office. Deadline to address given is: April 1, 2010.
